I am sure you have ridden the XCellerator (enters off the second lookout of cliffs ,just off the Buttufucco)
The south side trails are being madly redone and made by the Mattman.
The XCell is steep and exposed in sections but a local group ride it and fast, those of us who have big bikes will suffer.
Caution on first rides here as a Chute appears on one section which is dangerous , you would not want to fall here..
LazyBoy and the soon to be opened Ambidetrous( this trail was made to ride both directions) also are on this S. side cliffs of the Ledge.
At  XCell exit you are at the Flintstones exit Junction
(big beautiful rocks, and I mean big) are everywhere.
You then enter AutoBahn and skirt the S side till exiting onto the Viccarro properties under the power lines.
Locals used to call this area (RGC for RoadGapCity)
We usually ride under the power lines W. till a trail  N.W.  goes back up the mountain to a double track ,taking you back up to the Ledge and
Lazyboy, as well higher up to Flintstones enterance and eventually Little Butt and the cliffs.
Construction has started on the Whatcom Rd linkup which will really change this whole area, blocking off access in places.
Ledgeview is under heavy pressure, from owners , one who has clearcut a huge section tearing out Deerhunter in sections and made a instant "treefarm"
Some might think he has done a sorched earth policy , thumbing his nose at planning? time will tell .
Ledge has a min five years imo ,but eventually unless Environmental concerns matter enough it will have subdivisions, with a min 30 percent green spaces. Nice but not the beauty place we play in today.
Enjoy it while we can, keep it clean and don't PO the owners.
At the top while on the Buttuffucco ,touch the cranks for good luck, you can see the tree slowly is eating her.
later
