Lost Oakleys
This trail enters just below Ledgeview golf course  in Abby  by a big house N.side
winds along side the golf course for a minute and then down, past a new subdivision on the L. side a new spur takes out the old greasy section .
Heading N. you cross over a small stream via a runged bridge up past blackberry section till under the natural gas rightaway.
Across the open field past some ugly dj's holes ,you reenter the trail ,up and over a big laid over log, till you enter a ravine with a small (no motorcycle's bridge)
Over this skinny and up the trail, old school wind, with some new sections coming up.
Some spurs? and wood sections have been poorly made and slowly the forest is taking them back.
At the highest point ,you look down to a 4pak dj with goarounds .
A small 4foot high cedar ladder will drop you onto the next section with another bigger 4pak dj's to a big stepup combo to 15ft operating table to 8ft drop.(Pedal2daMetal)
Past this area to "Choose you poison"
,so named as your choice of 5 drops ,from go around to RetardO it features a natural steep to Hip drop, can be big,
 look N. and see.
This area become's very steeep ,like the sign says, down down you go .
Some ladderage with mesh helps, but in the wet this is not the trail to be in ,unless you feel on and a little bulletproof.
"Oh Mama" awaits  ,with Momma'a little helper by the side, fun, another optional ladder ahead till
"The dog's breakfast"  this area is full of stunts.
A big wall ride await's ,hit the dirt kicker onto it(or R. has it's own stepup landing ontop,)
and down to the ground to another wall ride this laddered one is the "twisted sis"up and down.
The ToDo a small elevated plank ride to drop.
Out over a laddered bridge with some elevated ladders takes you back onto the road.
You are just above Clayburn Village.
Climb the road for a mile , Soft Taco on Right hand side.

Soft Taco
This old school trail is steep, NOT for beginners.   Death in the wet..
This trail can be entered from Auguston subdivision
Enterance off the road,
Looking S. on the road ,you are just below the only concrete blocked corner on this road.
A small path S. takes you into the brush to a very old cedar two beam bridge, cross this or
take a small path below across the little creek and up.
Climb up this old logging access road till the top on the W. side is the entrance.(going up would lead you to the Auguston subdivision)
Enter this windy trail , winding all over the place with a  quick look over to the new subdivision, a big roller down or a goaround.
Down you go through a tree, (the Zipper awaits a fun little meshed plank)   it  quickly get steeep here ,with cribbing everywhere and ladders, bridges, just a ton of work.
A massive slide almost took out a 150foot bridge in the middle last year. This has made for a reroute and repair that added to the fun.
There are natural steeps, ladders, drops, bridging, skinny action you name it .
This trail has a rep as nasty
,laddering ,bridgeing, have helped and some bridge's have taken the teeth and ground them down.
Very pretty  place ,not highly ridden, most likely more hikers then bikers.
If you enjoy some solitude or are looking for something to test the mettle, well worth it.
Best in dry, woodpeckers, and so many other things here,a real pleasure to sit in the middle section and have lunch or just sit.
The end has been extended this year.
This trail is very old, always been maintained and with age has improved, like us eh?

Mar3/
Taco and Lost Oakley's have had a lot of mesh for traction and some cribbing this winter.
Result is a more all season's riding.
Both trails in excellent condition as is Ledgeview area.

Well the LO has seen three different groups of young guns trying to improve this trail.
Finally this action has stopped , please help out and pick the garbage ( empty water bottles everywhere? wtf?)
The dj line to the side  Pedal2dametal is nearly done, with a new line being continued past the operating table.
The plan this winter will be to continue the line  , jumping over a vinemaple bent at a nice angle to finish.
Hopefully we can figure out a big stepup back onto choose your poison this winter as well.
This trail is one which in the middle of last winter we rode over and over due to it's lower elevation and excellent water control area's.
A new bridge was made taking you over a clay slippery area which was only left due to a motorcycle ripping through .
The motorcycle has not been here for two years so ,hence a new bridge made .
Lots of stunts from wallrides to elevated planked tricks and drops.
Fun and so close to town.

Soft Taco,
The big bridge in the middle had a pair of shoes and socks sitting on it.

Bee's nest must be under as last I went over it ,
bee sting therapy.
Do NOT stop on bridge .
When time permits I will go and try and take this out.
Have had a couple of friends who have received some stings.
IF
you are going to ride it please put up a sign both ends informing riders  to NOT stopping here .
thanks.

The bee's on the Soft Taco bridge midpoint are long gone.
This trail has again been cleared and when I rode it last was in fine shape.
Old school and steep due to the area,as always when it's been wet ,this is NOT the trail you want to be on.
They don't call this area CLAYburn for nothing.
Nature lovers, will delight in this trail as the pilated woodpeckers and large amount of birds are always around.
Taking a break at the huge midpoint bridge and listening to the water ,reminds all of us why we love this area.
